The Eye of Perception is a 4-star catalyst that is available in the standard as well as weapon banner. At a single glance, this weapon seems perfect for your Catalyst DPS character. However, like most weapons, it has its own kinks that need to be worked on in order to make the best use of this weapon.

In this guide, we’ll be covering everything there is to know about the Eye of Perception.

Eye of Perception Stats and Ability

A fully levelled Eye of Perception has a base ATK of 454 with an ATK substat of 55.1%.

The weapon ability, Echo, gives normal and charged attacks a 50% chance of firing a bolt of perception that deals 240% ATK as DMG. This bolt can bounce between opponents 4 times and this effect can occur once every 12s.

Who can use the Eye of Perception?

Being a 4-star weapon, the Eye of Perception can give your main DPS a decent amount of damage due to its base ATK and substat. The weapon ability also works to add damage, though it is limited to a 50% chance. Now, let’s take a look at the characters that can properly utilize this weapon.

Ningguang

Being a Geo vision holder, Ningguang isn’t known for her amazing elemental reactions since Geo doesn’t really resonate with anything. However, she is an incredibly good DPS and when built right, her attacks are fast and deal a lot of DMG. Since elemental skill and burst scale on ATK, the Eye of Perception is a good weapon for her since it has a good base ATK and a decent ATK substat. The weapon ability also works well to increase her damage. So if you don’t have the Dodoco Tales or any other weapon that can amplify her damage, this is a good weapon for her.

Klee

Genshin Impact’s resident arsonist, Klee blows away her enemies with her specially made, adorable bombs. To deal maximum damage, she, much like Ningguang, needs ATK. That’s where the Eye of Perception comes in. Yes, there are other weapons like Dodoco Tales or Solar Pearl that suit her better. But the former is an event exclusive weapon so if you weren’t around to explore the midsummer islands, you probably don’t have that. The latter is a BP weapon. The Eye of Perception is definitely a decent placeholder for her and works well with her abilities.

Conclusion

As a 4-star weapon, the Eye of Perception has decent stats. There are definitely other 4-star weapons that outperform it. One of the other drawbacks this weapon has is the weapon’s ability. With a 50% chance of triggering, it only deals a good amount on higher refinement levels. However, it does have its use. This catalyst can act as a placeholder in many situations, especially in the case of characters who depend more on attack than they do on any other stat. All you need to know is who to use it for and how.
